The short version
My Recipe Booklet does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you write stays on your own device. There is no account, no sign-up, no tracking, and no analytics.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts and does not ask for any personal information. The recipes you create — their names, ingredients and methods — are saved locally on your device only. We have no access to them and they are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Camera, photos and microphone
You can scan a written recipe from a photo and dictate notes. Photos and speech are processed entirely on your device to turn them into recipe text — they are never sent to us or any server, and nothing is stored beyond the recipe you choose to save.
Sharing recipes
When you choose to share a recipe, the app creates a link containing that recipe and hands it to your device's own share sheet (Messages, Mail, AirDrop, etc.). You decide who receives it. The recipe travels inside the link itself and is not uploaded to us.
Analytics & tracking
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Children's privacy
Because the app collects no data at all, it is safe for users of any age.
Data retention & deletion
Your recipes live only on your device. You can delete any recipe within the app at any time, and removing the app deletes all of its data from your device.
